What do your quilts look like?

I have examples of my work here on my website,, under the menu DONE! and on Instagram. You can also read a bit about my process in this blog post.

How much does it cost?

It depends. There are an infinite number of choices when it comes to quilting, including fabric, quilting patterns, borders and size.  Here's my basic pricing (this pdf may show up at the bottom of the screen if you're on a mobile device):

Contact me at for custom quotes. Or fill out this T-shirt order form, take a photo with your phone, and text or email it to me.

Do you long arm quilt or quilt on a home machine?

I work with local (Denver and surrounding areas) long arm quilters. Long arm quilting results in a more professional look and more pattern options. My price sheet includes the cost of edge to edge quilting. Custom quilting is on a quote by quote basis.

What kind of fabric do you use for the backing, border & binding?

I use various quilting cottons and flannels. I can pick something for you or you can pick it. If you have a local quilt shop, that's a great place to start. Or, you can look online at Hawthorne Threads or Kona Solids are great to work with and you can pick your color here. Let me know what you want & I'll buy it. Or, if you don't know what you want, let me know general colors or themes and I'll email you examples for approval before I buy.

Do you use interfacing to make the t-shirts easier to work with?

I do not use interfacing, except if the shirt is so thin and old it may fall apart. In that case, I would use a lightweight sheer interfacing that wouldn't add much bulk. For the most part, I use a non-toxic fabric stabilizer (starch).

How do you attach your binding?

I machine stitch the binding to the front of the quilt and hand stitch the binding to the back. I also make a binding with a flange that is attached entirely by machine.

How long does it take?

4-6 weeks from the time I receive your t-shirts, unless otherwise noted in the custom quote.

I'm ready for you to make my quilt. What do I do first?

Send me an email at to let me know you're ready to get started and we'll go from there!

Do you smoke?

No, I work in a non-smoking household with one non-smoking cat, Hobbes.

Do you make other things besides t-shirt quilts?

Yes, mostly creative endeavors. I don't do upholstery, hem pants or make curtains. Except for my own household. And even they're waiting for me to finish those things ;).

I have a custom request. How do I contact you?

Email me at

Where are you located?

I live in Denver, Colorado. If you live in or near Denver, I'd love to meet with you in person to go over the details of your quilt.
