Heidi's T-Shirt Quilt
I love how Heidi's t-shirt quilt turned out. She didn't have quite enough t-shirts to make a quilt, so I filled it in with Alison Glass' Diving Board. That collection is unbelievably beautiful.
I also used a little bit of Tula Pink from her Slow and Steady Collection, Tortoise Shell in Strawberry Kiwi and Tortoise Shell in Blue Raspberry.
Instead of piecing the backing, I used Pearl in Lagoon for the whole thing, also from Alison Glass' Diving Board Collection. I can't explain how much I love that fabric.
Heidi said she wanted blues and greens and stars, so Diving Board is a perfect fit. I quilted it on my machine with Aurifil 28 wt white in 2" parallel straight lines hitting a odd angles. I really like how that turned out, too.
Here's hoping Heidi likes her Christmas t-shirt quilt.

Here's the label I made for the back:

And here's Pearl in Lagoon (with mystical mermaids!!!), the backing fabric, that I love, love LOVE:
